Podcasts for {Food} Bloggers

A list of my favourite podcasts for food bloggers, bloggers, food lovers, and creative entrepreneurs. What are your favs? | the lovely kitchen

Podcasts are having their heyday right now – it seems like everyone and their dog is starting a podcast and I love it! I listen to podcasts in the car, instead of turning on the radio, while I’m getting ready in the morning, at the gym, and at work (when I’m not doing something that requires me to be super focused). It’s such a great way to be exposed to new ideas and learn a lot! There are so many podcasts targeted to food bloggers (and for bloggers and food lovers separately!) These are my favourites.

{Food} Blogger Podcasts

TheLivelyShowPodcastThe Lively Show
Favourite episodes: TLS #78: 27 Ways to Make Money Online with Hilary Rushford // TLS #70: Turn Your Day Around & How to Say No with Alexandra Franzen // TLS #10: Embracing Minimalism with Dana Shultz // TLS #20 Facing Fears and Slowing Down with Joy Wilson
The Lively Show was the very first podcast that flung me far and deep into the rabbit hole of blogging podcasts. It is a podcast “designed to add a little extra intention to your everyday.” Jess has interviewed ALL of my favourite bloggers and influencers and it is SO inspiring! Honestly, I have listened to most of the episodes more than once, and some more than twice! I love Jess’s interview style – she is so energetic and inspirational herself!

ChoppedPodcastChopped Podcast
Favourite episodes: #006: Taking the Leap to Full-time Food Blogger with Kathryne Taylor // #011: How Food Bloggers Can Work with Brands with Rachel Gurk
In the Chopped Podcast, Marly interviews food bloggers for their tips and tricks about the food blogging world. I love Chopped because it is specific to food blogging and I always glean a few useful tips from each episode! Chopped is also a conference for food bloggers, which I one day hope to attend.

FoodBloggerProThe Food Blogger Pro Podcast
Favourite episodes: Episode 003: Sally McKenney from Sally’s Baking Addiction // Episode 011: Making the Leap to Full-Time Blogging with Beth Moncen from Budget Bytes // Episode 013: An interview with Molly Yeh, the author behind Saveur’s 2015 Blog of the Year
Everyone knows powerhouse couple Bjork and Lindsay Ostrom of the food blog Pinch of Yum, and now they have a podcast! I love this podcast because it is solely focused on growing and profiting from your food blog. Bjork has a casual yet down-to-business interview style. He interviews some of the best in the food blogging industry, such as Sally McKenney from Sally’s Baking Addiction, Molly Yeh from My Name is Yeh!, and Ashley and Gabe Rodriguez from Not Without Salt. Highly recommended.

How They BlogHowtheyBlogPodcast
Favourite episodes: HTB35: How to Harness The Power of Pinterest – An Interview with Rebekah Hoffer
Kat no longer updates the How They Blog podcast, but the old episodes are such a great reference for tips about blogging! The episode about harnessing the power of Pinterest completely overhauled the way I used Pinterest and hugely grew my following. There’s some really great blogging resources here.

OnePartPodcastOne Part Podcast
Favourite episodes: Episode 37: Practice Makes Perfect + Self-Publishing a Book with Dana Shultz of Minimalist Baker
